(Hons) course in affiliation with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. The commerce programme offered by the department of commerce emphasises on an interactive teacher learner environment facilitated by the use of presentations, role plays, case studies, group discussions, educational excursions, and the use of e-resources in teaching of subjects like business laws, business economics etc.
The main endeavor of the department is to help the students to find out right career path enabling them to become successful professionals. The programme is a valuable preparation for a variety of career options in the field of commerce. It facilitates the students to apply for higher education like ICAI, ICSI, ICWA, MBA, M. Com., M.Sc. (Finance) in India as well as abroad. It also helps the students to apply for job opportunities like financial analyst, government jobs, Bank PO exams, National Stock Exchange, SEBI along with private sector job opportunities. The team of professional experts delivers discourse on career guidance, personality development, and curriculum vitae designing, enables them to face and clear any interview and professional exams as well.
In addition to the University syllabus the team of well qualified, experienced, and enthusiastic faculties are active in organising guest lectures, workshops, national & international conferences, industrial visits, sports activities, career advancement courses, outstation trips, annual festival “ZEAL” for holistic development of the students.
The Training and Placement cell liaison with corporate organizations to provide suitable jobs and internship to the students. Our major internship and placement recruiters are IDBI, Indian Oil Corporation, I- Plan, Asia International, Acro HR, Reliance, Bajaj Capital, Genpact.

Dr. Manisha Gupta
Dr. Manisha Gupta is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Commerce, LLDIMS. At LLDIMS she is the faculty of the MPOB, Business Communication, Marketing Management, Indian Economy, Business Ethics & CSR, IBM, Digital Marketing and Research Methodology. She is the member of Cultural Committee, Research Committee, Library Committee, and Women Cell in the college. She had published one book and eight research papers in National and International Journals.
She has over 10 years of teaching experience. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from SHIATS (Formerly called Allahabad Agriculture Institute-Deemed University, Allahabad). She has qualified UGC NET in Management twice. She has done an MBA with the specialization of HR & Marketing from GBTU.
Dr. Shikha Gupta
Dr. Shikha is the Associate Professor of Finance at the Department of Commerce, LLDIMS. At LLDIMS she is the faculty of the Financial Accounting, Financial Markets & Institutions, Derivatives, Financial Modeling, SPSS and Tally ERP 9 Software and serves as Training and Placement coordinator and Alumni Relation Head. She is a member of many research journal editorial boards and written research papers in the area of finance in leading International, UGC care, and SCOPUS listed journals.
She has over ten years of experience of financial research and teaching. She holds the doctoral degree Ph.D. in microfinance from one of the leading National Importance Institutes of India, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, India.
