BACHELOR OF EDUCATION (B.Ed)

LLDIMS started B. Ed. Course with the aim of providing high and supporting school education as a feeder. Since it’s establishment our department is sincerely focusing on creating competent teachers and empowering them to realize their potential and to serve the mankind. With a notion to produce teachers for global citizens, the student teachers are exposed to various activities, catering to their cognitive, affective, conative and psycho-social development.

The B.Ed. programme is recognized by NCTE. It. is a two years program that is designed by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University-the affiliating University. In B. Ed. Course LLDIMS has an intake of 100 students. All the admissions are done on the basis of candidates’ merits in combined Entrance test held by GGSIP University.

Dr. Jyoti Dahiya

Ph.D. (Education), UGC- NET, M.A (Pscycology), M.A (Political Science), M.Ed, Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling

Dr Jyoti Dahiya is the HOD (Dept. of Education) with Lingaya’s Lalita Devi Institute of Management & Sciences, NAAC “A” Grade Institute(Affiliated to GGSIP University, New Delhi). She comes with over 12 years of experience in the field of teacher education. She is also heading the DPSE programme (affiliated with SCERT, New Delhi)
She has credit for research papers published in National & International journals and presented numerous articles at various conferences. She has written three books on Education. She has contributed to multiple professional conferences, workshops, and seminars.
She is associated with SCERT (New Delhi), NIOS, and AMERICAN PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION.
She has delivered many talks on the issues of Education and Society, Environment, Gender Issues, and Personality Development and is actively involved in counselling students as a motivational speaker.

Dr. Sharma has an excellent teaching experience that has expanded over 25 years in the field of education. Her academic expertise includes a vast array of fields like psychology, teaching of Hindi language, research methodology, experimental design & child development among others.

She has published more than 25 articles and research papers in a number of reputed national and international journals.

She has been felicitated with a ‘Best teacher’ award by Rotary club of India and also by Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti, New Delhi for her dedicated contribution to the field of education that is continuing till today.

She has published her own book titled- ‘Language Proficiency- Hindi and English’ in Eureka Publications. She has also written a chapter for the book ‘Covid 19: Mental Health and Psychological Challenges during the Pandemic,’ for which she received a citation for best writing. She is also active in the field of research and is associated with Lingayas Vidyapeeth, mentoring scholars doing research work under her supervision.

In addition, she has a passion for hindi literature and her articles and poems are published in magazines from time to time.

Dr.Sangeet Sharma is an acknowledged memory and NLP Trainer in India who has great contributions in the field of memory mastery, Neuro Linguistic programming, Emotional intelligence and other related areas of mind programming. He is Ph.D.in Education and for over 10 years, he has lent valuable contributions in the field of education and has been closely associated with various reputed Schools, Universities and Colleges influencing and shaping the lives of his students and teachers. Energetic, driven and accomplished, he is a passionate trainer having trained over 5000 people across schools, colleges, corporate and from other walks of life.

She has an overall teaching experience of 20 years in the field of education , with a natural passion for shaping the personality of students and preparing them for the future. She has expertise in teaching subjects like Educational Guidance and Counseling, Educational Psychology and Teaching of Integrated Science . She is the coordinator of the Eco Cell and the Anchoring Committee of the Institution. She has excellent communication skills, and has published articles and research papers in National and International Journals, and participated in National and International Conferences and Seminars.

Ambedkar University, Delhi. She also holds a Bachelors degree in Education from GGSIP University. She has also qualified UGC- NET Exam. She has presented Paper in a National Conference titled “Emerging Trends and Innovations in Teacher Education” that was held in B.Ed. Her professional skills include ICT-based Teaching Learning Approach, Infusion of ICT in Lesson Planning: Multi Media Lesson Plan, Use of appropriate Software Tools for Evaluation, Use of ICT resources for Language Development Skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing, ICT based Teaching Learning Material: preparation, selection and effective use, Sharing content, thoughts and ideas on Social Networking and Organisation of Co- Curricular Activities.
